Thermal connection

This element can be used for heat transfer problems only.

A fictitious element with a zero volume representing a thermal connection between two semi-loof elements $(\mathtt{ITE}=61),$ or between two solid elements $(\mathtt{ITE}=55$ or $56).$

; description of the connector element in the file name.i1 CN T INDF E IE IE$_1$ ID$_1$ IE$_2$ ID$_2$

$\mathtt{INDF}$connection type identification number
$=-1$perfect thermal contact between two semi-loof elements (sandwich)
$=-6$thermal contact resistance between two solid elements
$\mathtt{IE}$global index of the connector element
$\mathtt{IE}_1,\mathtt{IE}_2$global index of the connected element
$\mathtt{ID}_1,\mathtt{ID}_2$local face index of the connected element ($\mathtt{ID}_1=\mathtt{ID}_2=1$ for $\mathtt{INDF}=-1$)
Note
The index of the connector element must be greater than the indices of the connected semi-loof elements.
